"We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and spectacular view from our cottage and appreciated having a kitchen, even if a minimally-equipped one. The furnishings were dated and the space was crowded--very small bathroom. But everything was clean, the staff were helpful and pleasant, and it was convenient to have food for sale in the office, since the cottages are located at the very south end of the Ingonish area."
"A very cozy, quaint, and comfortable stay. Beautiful views from the private deck off our room. The staff was incredibly friendly. The office building has lots of homemade sandwiches and treats to grab and go. Highly recommend Knotty Pines!"
"We loved our cabin. When we got there we were in a different room that has a full kitchen available, and beautiful, but had people over us. We asked for one of the private cabins and were not disappointed. The room was beautiful for a couple. Private balcony to enjoy the view of Igonish Harbour. It was romantic and exactly was we were looking for. We look forward to going back again."
"We absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed in one of the Sunset Cabins, and would highly recommend. Our cabin was clean and so beautiful inside — to say nothing of the unbelievable view outside the floor to ceiling windows! Our cabin didn’t have a full kitchenette (which we knew upon booking) but was stocked with virtually anything (and more) you’d need — coffee/maker, a fridge, cutlery, plates, wine glasses, napkins, etc. Check-in and out was so easy, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The bed was really comfortable. And while there isn’t a full restaurant, we were able to get pizza for dinner, and homemade pie — they also had breakfast sandwiches and a few other items available. Would absolutely stay here again."
"We rented the motel room. Very clean, comfortable beds, courtesy coffee/ tea in room. Good use of a small space. Beautiful view and very reasonable. They have a small shop which came in handy when all restaurants in the area were closed-. Order the pork dumplings. Amazing!"
